Eat With Your Family Day 2012

Centre for Fathering’s

Eat With Your Family Day (EWYFD) is geared to encourage families to have meals together. It acts as a starting point for families to commit to have a meal together on a regular if not daily basis. Through this, we want to make the Asian tradition of family meals the avenue to build family unity and cohesion. We encourage Schools and Organisations to participate by ending all operations at 5pm, allowing their staff to leave work to have dinner with their families.

SYNOPSIS
For the coming school holidays this June, Singapore Dance Theatre presents Peter and Blue Go Around the World, an hour-long children’s ballet production which brings together the magic of fairy-tale and meaningful morals.

SDT’s annual children season performance, returns after the successful premiere in 2010 and restaging in 2011 (Peter and Blue’s Forest Adventure), this all-new sequel will see the ever-inquisitive trio - Peter, his dog Blue and his cat Calico, embark on yet another magical adventure but far beyond their home this time!

Longing to explore the world, Peter’s wish is finally granted when he chances upon Mr. and Mrs. Strawberry, guardians of the Woodland Forest, who present him with a magic boat that can take him anywhere around the world and back in no time! Join them as they visit different countries and traverse continents as diverse as Asia, Europe and America, and get acquainted with the new friends they meet along the way.

Along with children’s activities such as meet-the-characters, photo-taking session, face and tattoo painting, this is a perfect family outing not to be missed!

Suitable for age 3 and above.
